Driven

August 15, 2012

I am Driven.

Often I am so motivated. I just want to burst out of my skin and achieve something -anything!

And the first things I’m met with is laundry, dishes, cleaning oatmeal out of the dogs hair, and keeping underwear (at least!) on the kids’ bums before they run out the door.

Some challenges such as these that are tackled every day.  And I’m proud of myself.

Still.  My thoughts push forward, planning, making goals for the days, weeks, and years ahead.
Ideas for home schooling, photography, home design.  Goals to be a better mother, wife, Christian, artist, budgeter, swimmer, meal preparer, etc…

Always pursuing a better version of myself.

I am committing my goals to writing.

The most successful people write down their goals.
Make commitments to achieve those goals.
Strategize ways to be accountable.

So here I am.  Documenting, committing, keeping myself accountable, and glorifying God.
I’m also hoping you’ll set some goals… maybe share some with me.  And we’ll achieve them together!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
